It was the best of the bunch, it had the most promise. I had to watch it for work and thought it could turn into a Grounded for Life/Reba/syndication hit at least. Mulaney was embarrassing to watch.

I'd pay good money to see the "Mulaney struggling with his alcoholism" pilot that NBC passed on. That was the show that should've been made.

"to a certain section of hte tv-watching public anyway"

get fucking schwifty asshole

all i wanted. ive been playing the clip over and over

biggest laugh for me

so not schwifty.

GUESS I NEED TO CRUNCH SOME NUMBERS

I think it's clear he's more of a benefit to national security than a threat after this episode. Get Schwifty was a jam.

"particle blaster on the arm, snake canister on the leg" and the president's "I LOVE THIS MAN" were such a good ending. I hope we see Rick and Morty involved in more "save the country/work with the pentagon" situations after this

THIS EPISODE WAS AMAZING, GET SCHWIFTY, SHIT ON THE FLOOR.

I honestly dreamt he was my boyfriend and I was the happiest person in the world after watching this episode.

Yeah, but for a comedy performance, Hader really could've gone balls to the wall.

It's Criterion Collection so it's on Hulu.

Hader really restrained himself

I watched Documentary Now first, then the actual movie and it made the show so much funnier. I loved the episode, but realizing how detailed it was took it to the next level. Hader is a genius.

yea i didnt understand why the article was like "he maybe cheated…"

he did the "affair guarantee" which said he'd get a refund in 2 months if he didn't have an affair and there's no record of him getting a refund in the leaked docs, just more charges, so odds are it worked out for him

Nope, he had his foundation partner secretly record kids as young as 6 that he met at events. it goes way deeper than this story, but it's all really fucked up to read about.

this is the best worst thing
