He is going to raise the best damn liar. Now she is going to hide everything from him and feel icky for having feelings for a boy. Why are men so afraid of their daughters growing up?

I'm gonna be that person and say.....I don't like this. I care less about the fact that he made her wear that stuff (which, just within their family, could actually be funny and effective) and more about the fact that he humiliated her in front of 250,000 people (and counting). 10 years old is old enough to start

I tend to agree with you. I find it a bit extreme as well. What if you're daughter is having a play date and her friend wants to hug her goodbye? Couldn't you say, "Oh Susy your friend would like to give you a hug goodbye, isn't that nice?" It's not too pushy IMO. I think it is wrong to imply that all attempted

For me, it was Super 8. She was so spectacular in that whole movie.

I totally get what you're saying. As a psychologist I would advise that parents who draw a hard line, or even a line at all, on touching, leave their children open for problems down the line. It's been proven over and over again.

Dysfunctional behavior concerning touching from a survivor of sexual abuse as a young child. Pretty much textbook psychology here.

"Barely Legal" ? She's 21 at the time. In the UK. Where the age of consent is 16. Don't be ridiculous!

Here's a thought. How about we stop allowing people who've gone to West Africa in the last few months from coming back and being an infection risk. Maybe for once we should stop worrying about individual rights and more about the safety of society as a whole (seriously if someone came back to the UK and went on the

I think that we should just end the failed experiment that is daytime TV. Every channel should have to go dark until Jeopardy! comes on.

I didn't care for the last few seasons of Dr. Who episodes, I'm "new" to the show. But this new season, has captured my attention. I really like the character of Doctor on this season. He's not some mechanical monkey who claps it's plates together like in the 3-4 last seasons. So that's great.

This sounds very similar to my experience with Divinity: Original Sin - took me a couple of restarts to get into it, but once in, it had me by the S&Cs. Will probably download tonight - thanks for the article.

I've played a big chunk of the game in beta (about 70 hours for two playthroughs, never restarted, just begun release version), and I'm a little surprised at this article. I mean, by these standards of "too difficult", Fallout 3 or Skyrim would also be impenetrably hard, unforgiving and obscure! Sure, Wasteland 2 is

I agree. People have gotten to use to having their hands held and being pointed in all the right directions for far too long.

They have never known what real RPG freedom really is. :-)

My actual reaction. I ran around my room screaming and cheering as a 23 y/o man.

That, right there, is what I MISS about RPGs. I'm not intimidated by that AT ALL, I am seduced by it!

That's what surprises me so much when I read comments about this game. It seems a lot of people find it difficult because of the uninformed decisions they made. It's like people have been playing half-brain dead games for too long and don't realize that the game offers so many options because you need those options

I have been having fun with this game and luckily Dr. Von Science and his band of merry rangers have not run into the same world altering disaster you have. Maybe that's because when danger calls Dr. Von Science answers, and with vigor.

meh, maybe my brain just works differently, but I haven't found the game to be too difficult. Balance out your skill points between different characters...I have one doctor character; she's not great w weapons but she's decent with pistols so she's not totally useless.

One of the greatest RPGs ever made. As for that cliffhanger ending, the game's creator has said they will try to do the second game at some point if the rights situation allows. If not, he'll spill the beans on what was supposed to happen. I think he's set a deadline of 2020 for that.
