Krull is one of the most underrated genre movies. Really excellent.

I guess I’m just dreaming it then. Eyeroll.

PC gamers beware. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has game-breaking bugs that have not been fixed by patch. I had to stop playing the game several hours in, because of a bug that causes your game to freeze whenever you try to use the subway to travel to a different zone.

I would love to play through the “greatest mission in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided,” the trouble is that the game freezes every time I get onto a train.

Bravo!

Why can’t you just accept the idea that different people like different things and often for different reasons? You’re trying to prove something that is not the sort of thing that can be proven.

Totally disagree with every point of your analysis. I loved the writing. Loved the characters. Loved (most of) the actors.

? Do you actually know how many viewers B5 had? Or what the DVD sales were? I’d bet it’s quite a lot of people. (i.e. in the millions) Not at the level of the Star Trek audience, of course, but that doesn’t change the fact that when, in giving your own opinion, you speak of how “people” react, you are conflating.

if you want people to take it seriously.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion on this, but many people — including me — think that B5 was vastly superior to DS9.

This doesn’t strike me as sustainable. For one thing, there’s pretty good evidence that the idea for DS9 was stolen from Babylon 5 — which should automatically disqualify it. For another, the show took a major nose dive, after the killing off of Jadzia, and the introduction of her insufferable replacement.

The Guardians of the Galaxy film was fun, but it would have been much better if they’d use the real Guardians and not the joke ones. You know, the guys who helped bring down Korvac?

Agreed. Seems like a terrible fit.

The fact that you’re scared — “Scary stuff!” — kind of makes his point, doesn’t it?

Except that Ghostbusters was terribly written. Some of the worst film writing in recent memory. Haven’s seen Suicide Squad and may not, given the terrible reviews.

So, you wish death on your political opponents. And you think that’s an admirable stance?

Amazing movie and fine essay. Thank you.

Obviously, Mass Effect and Fallout. STALKER too.

I *think* that’s where I got mine. (Though I’m not entirely sure.) And it was in mint condition. I definitely did not get it in the place mentioned in the article.

Yeah, why not just do the damned book? Why all the add-ons and improvisation? Do these people really think they are better writers than Dick was?
