You can *ask* for respect, but there is no requirement that you receive it.

THANK YOU.

Uh...no.

I think this is a fair point, although in my case, there were overlapping reasons for liking both. But yes, this was my point elsewhere about the utter absence of humor in STALKER.

Agree on the difficulty of Vanilla STALKER — although true hardcore types will dispute us. I found playing it with the Complete Mod most enjoyable. Difficult, but in a way that did not break immersion or enjoyment. (Again, hardcore types will likely disagree.)

Yeah, there is no way to run and gun STALKER. You have to be extremely careful in combat.

You can entirely ignore the storyline and just hunt Artifacts or play Factions. And the storyline is fascinating, given the real history of the Chernobyl meltdown and the literary

Absolutely. I came to STALKER from Fallout and found it satisfying in similar although also substantially different ways. It is a much more difficult game and in some ways a much more immersive game. It is also a far more frightening game, completely lacking in the humor that is so distinctive of Fallout.

What "glory" were you thinking of?

Could you be specific? I haven't seen much by way of trolling or misogynists here.

Hope you don't live in a city. Apparently the life span of a person who lives in a place like New York or Berlin is -10 years due to all the car, bus, truck, etc., exhaust.
