There was also an EU story where that first choice droid was a Jedi Droid and used the Force to know he should let R2 go instead so he committed suicide.

He should really tighten up set security and fire whomever is running the production team's daycare.

And 'Rebel Rising' which just came out the other day covers Saw raising Jyn.

Followed by a squadron of TIE Fighters flying into the distance in front of the Millenium Falcon as though they were piloted by smurfs because they screwed up the plate layering…I saw that on the first viewing and can never unsee it. One of the many FX goofs I was hoping they'd fix for the Special Editions or Blu

Same way the Empire built the second Death Star in three years instead of twenty. The hard part was the superlaser. They keep re-using Galen Erso's original design for it, so they keep rebuilding the same flaw that makes them easily destroyable. The only people who knew the flaw was intentional all died in Rogue

War. War never changes.

BB8 is already a ball. Why would they need to have another?

It worked for Han Solo, it can work for you. Just watch out for gangster slugs.

Yeah, I've got the Complete Cross-Sections which compiles them all. The problem is that they're drawn by employees of the publishing company, not Lucasfilm, and directly contradict things seen in the films/TV series in many places. The ones for the original trilogy are especially ludicrous because it's clear

Pretty sure that, other than the surface defenses which absolutely orient center-down, only a very very small part of the Death Star is habitable and has 'floors'. Most of the rest of it is just giant machinery. I imagine the area around the docking bays we see on both of them is where the command section is and

I think I said football because the one that stands out in my mind is the one right after Fatal Attractions where they played football. Searching for the issue (Uncanny 308) even found a blog entry that leads with "The X-Men play football instead of softball!" which is funny to me.

Here we go! From the classic "Under Siege" story arc where Dr. Druid shows up at the last minute to levitate to the top of Avengers Mansion:

Ragnarok happens like every five years in the comics. It's not really a big deal.

They should just make movies out of the goodness of their hearts like the other studios!

Pandamonium!

Minus Hulk, I'm reasonably certain that's actually been an Avengers lineup before.

And every other character they haven't/won't give a solo movie. The current Avengers are almost there as it is, just pull the big three. Once they have enough second stringers to make a stable team, you then pull Hawkeye and Widow so there's not a single original left and voila! A classic Avengers lineup shuffle!

Let's not go overboard here…

So…Supreme Power?

The Avengers used to form teams comprised solely of their B-list reservists all the time and run with them for years. For quite a long time the Avengers comic was a dumping ground for characters who weren't good enough for their own book rather than a top-tier title. It'd be kinda hilarious if they took the movie
