What’s the point of having the big life events with someone if that someone isn’t around?

You want to be married to someone you don’t live with/haven’t lived with? You want to co-parent with someone you never lived with? These arrangements seem sub-optimal at best, miserable at worst.

However, if you have any plans for marriage and/or kids, if you don’t live with the person for a few years before commuting to that person long term, you are likely going to be unhappy.

What’s the part after 7 years?

Why not have the big life events too without living together?

They don’t want it easy they want it viable. Unless you are in a major city it is now pretty much impossible to find anything by walking except for the most common pokemon.

Except that the in-game tracker was a big and important part of the game. With that disabled, you need SOMETHING to track nearby Pokémon.
