That was my point. What their beliefs are aren’t representative of the beliefs of Christians universally, which are overwhelming varied, often quite logical, non-hyocritical, and educated. But unfortunately, not always.

Their Christian values are not the same as universally held Christian’s values, nor is their hypocrisy a universally shared practice. Keeping moral reprobates, child abusers/abandoners, and all around scumbags from usurping Christianity is the biggest justification for going to church if you’re a Christian.
