Eh. 2016 had Stardew Valley and Souls 3. Firewatch was interesting but I didn’t play much. I didn’t even buy any of the other ones (except Civ VI, where I basically just overpaid to look at it now and hold until it’s great). Great year for action fans, maybe.

There’s such an insane number of games on Steam, why bother…

There are certain laptops with a fruit logo on their backs that come with a operating system in which you can’t play Skyrim. The other ones, no problem.

Nerd as in I take my interests to obsessive levels. I used to own and breed hundreds of tarantulas. I’m currently playing through a backlog of 90s-00s CRPGs because I’m interested in understanding thoroughly the history of the genre. I don’t dabble, I become an encyclopedic resource.

God I hate this. I have a PC and love using it and trading out hardware on it. But there is no universe where you could make a PC with far superior specs for $250-300. At $500, yeah sure, but you need a monitor, a keyboard and mouse, a case, fans, and wireless router, which will cost about $200 together if you get it…
