Because we expect it out of Republicans, but large numbers of Dems voted for this as well. Without those Dem votes, laws like this have no chance.

I believe a lot of these laws have loopholes where as long as a certain percentage of the site is not porn, they don’t have to use age verification. So sites like Reddit, you can access all the NSFW and gone wild subreddits you want without verifying your age. 

This is just a way for Christians to target and harass minorities in new ways. Some community college’s “gay-straight alliance club” homepage will be deemed “pornography.” Democratic heterosexuals in California and elsewhere keep supporting this concept, and they fail to see that it will only harm adults.

After I beat Remake I was talking to somebody that hadn’t played it yet, they said they didn’t care about spoilers at all, so I told them about how they were setting it up as a sequel instead of an actual remake, and they were just like, “no, I don’t think that’s what’s going on.”

If people didn’t figure out that the train was off the rails by the halfway point, I don’t know what to tell you.

It’s like people skipped the entire last three hours of the game. It baffles me that anyone who played remake missed the fact that this is NOT just a retelling of the original story.

That’s a pretty standard course of action for law enforcement. Not defending it but their stance is that they don’t know what is in most places so they are going to go in and assume they are an armed nutjob and hope they are over estimating.

It is more likely their identity couldn’t be determined or they were located in a country that doesn’t give a F about messing with foreign corporations.

I mean since we are gonna criminalize poverty anyways, why don’t we just create poverty prisons where homeless can voluntarily “incarcerate” themselves. They’ll get three square meals and a roof, it can be integrated with the nonviolent offender sections of existing prisons, and as long as they test free of drug…

It’s pretty wild the lengths we go to making hundreds or thousands of people inconvenienced and uncomfortable just to prevent one singular homeless person getting a wink of sleep.
