@derilium: To be frank though, you won't find decent CPUs in that range either. Any CPU you find in that range will severely bottleneck you in games.

@Kev Clarke: I personally just disable wobbly windows. But the other features (desktop cube, fire/rain effect on screen) are just too awesome to disable.

@horizonguy: I guess you tried to use Ubuntu with the Gnome DM? While it's nice, Gnome is NOT meant for slower PCs. You should try something like Lubuntu, LXDE is quite lightweight, and it should work a lot better.

@Walternate: Not really that awesome. This is the speed I got downloading Ubuntu 9.1o with DownThemAll.

@Whitson Gordon: As for opera, typing opera: should give a drop-down menu with all the options.

@Zinger314: Would be stupidly for the CS students in Ryerson, as their email is basically /username/@scs.ryerson.ca; which you can find with a simple ls command.

It's Advanced OpenGL. Also, try Optifog.

Just in case someone needs the link: bit.ly/spcmod.

The PortableAppls 2.0 launcher has the ability to check for updates.

@kararose: The EP2 Preview Clip One does confirm that it's the Silence that's making people feel sick.

What about the water dragon from Jade Empire? Sure, she might not have much in the attack department (considering that she spends the entire game trapped by the villains), but you need to give her credit for carrying out an awesome gambit that rivals even the main villain's one.

@Pessimippopotamus: Reminds me of Eden from FFVIII, which does something similar, but takes so...ridic...u...l...o...u...s...y...l...o...n...g...zzzzzz...

@WhatPayne: Arma II seems to support head tracking (which you can utilize through TrackIR/FreeTrack). It's a massive boon, as view and gun aim are independent of eack other.

@OtakuMan24: I am pretty sure a lot of people saw the major implications for this device very early in it's lifetime (when it was just a prototype). It a sham that it was the unofficial hackers that unlocked the full potential of it, not Microsoft.

Hopefully it will have ACTUAL buttons, otherwise there's no reason to buy it for PS1 games.

@watts.josh: Just wait, FFVI and CT with both eventually come to the US VC. FFVI is out on EU and JP VC, while CT is out on US VC.

Now playing

@Shtick: Well, Minecraft had a similar thing in the early days- if you died, you had to start from scratch on a whole new terrain. And IIRC, Notch is thinking of adding a "hardcore" mode that does the same.

@lesbiansayswhat: Of course, either way, it's much better to use 2nd person in these situations, whenever possible. Subverts the gender issues.
