@Ghinn: Or Minecraft.
@Ghinn: Or Minecraft.
@Ben R: ABP doesn't block ads by itself, it relies on a set of rules to block ads. If any page is showing ads, it's because the blocklist is lacking.
@tsdexter: Still, it's not Honeycomb-esque different. Simply having a bigger screen is no good if the home screen is still a BUNCH OF ICONS!
@greatsage10001: Are you using Chrome? In Firefox, ABP blocks ads from loading. Period.
@Dan Peck: But with WOT, you can have it block sites that are in the red.
@monkeyslayer56: At least you are not in TVTropes, where not even monochrome will save you.
@cmcanuck: 1D? Isn't that like... a line?
@davepermen: Thanks for the #tips .
@crisss1205: Would not help, as you can just Cmd-tab to another program. And the main reason it won't work is because OSX doesn't use explorer.exe
@improprietary: Or task manager.
@bencahill: Actually, it's Windows 7 that would autostart explorer.exe, in XP, if you killed explorer.exe, it would stay down until you ran it again.
@sdn: Really. Glasses are transparent, which is not something the animal world is used to- they would think there's nothing there, until they hit it. I have seen cats trying to get to an insect on the other side of the window.
@kschang: In fact, it should be made MANDATORY for apartment windows.
@Y2KGTP: But on which side?
@arahman56: And of course, I did have times when I quit Firefox, but still got the "Firefox is still running, but not responding" message in Windows.
@Tams80: That is why you select "Quit"/"Exit" from the menu bar for apps you want to quit completely- even with Windows, with some apps, clicking the close button will only close the Window, the app would be still running.
@FourFeet: Since when did Quitting/Exiting an app didn't quit it? Or is it something to do with Macs?
@syncrety: Or any other GUI-based OS?
Vote: NoScript
@zeco: Vista was better than XP, and even XP was a piece of crud when it was released. Actually, a bigger piece of crud.
