I disagree with the idea that privileged people can’t have a valid opinion on what’s offensive or not. People from marginalized groups can be wrong too.

I’ve always liked these. It’s sort of a weird mashup. The front end is from the 60s, the greenhouse is from the 50s, and the taillights are from the 70s. Yet somehow that all works together.

I have seen a dedicated ‘colorblind mode’ in one game, ever: Borderlands. Other than that, we’re on our own figuring out your color coded loot systems. Oblivion was fun because I couldn't tell which actions were illegal (the slightly-oranger indicator looked identical to the normal one). Good times.

My dad is colorblind and my boyfriend is 100% full grayscale colorblind. When I worked in the game industry I always was the one bringing up issues with colors. Just a lot of people don’t THINK about it.

I’ve heard Splatoon lets you change color combinations becuase of that.

Even though I’m not colorblind, certain attacks like the circles of blue and white hearts from the married dogs were hard to tell apart. I noticed at least one let’s player who didn’t realize there were blue attacks in that one, and tried to dodge the attack as if they were all white.

If I’m not mistaken, I think the latest patch fixed this issue.
