Looks cool, but if I’m going to get an Xbox would be for enhanced backwards compatibility, which they’ll be improving on the Series X.

Nopeeee don't need that wireless charging crap
Eneloops, man.
If you were smart, you’d have bought some Eneloops and been done with it.
I bought Eneloops that I can use for PS2 (Logitech controllers!), Wii, 360, and Xbox One, as well as in many other things around the house.
I personally prefer having the option to use AA batteries. I have used rechargeable battery packs and just rechargeable batteries. I tend to prefer to use AA batteries, I tend to also have a Costco pack or two of batteries laying around that I can pick up a few batteries and get playing right away or when the…
Sony’s still putting the left analog stick in the wrong spot.
I have both systems, have for years. Have rechargeable double As plugged in right next to my couch. I much prefer swapping those out on the fly then playing with my ps4 controller plugged in, or having to swap controllers mid game.
As far as controllers go, I prefer having options over having not. Or, in this particular case, having Sony make the choice for me. I own both current generation consoles, and a set of Eneloops on account of every remote control in my home using AA or AAA batteries, and even if they didn’t last longer than the battery…
or have a swappable battery and never have to be tethered 4 feet from an outlet or your console.
Microsoft’s method here seems like a no-brainer. Either you keep the AA batteries or you buy one of the many rechargable battery solutions that exist. I went battery only for a while and then eventually bought a play and charge kit and haven’t looked back. But it’s nice to know that if the play and charge ever breaks…
yea, we’re recharging the same 4 for a decade+
you buy a 4 pack of eneloops with charger for 8 dollars and never think about it again.
I really don’t get why this is a debate at all.
It just really sucks that when the DS4 it does run low, thats the end of gaming for an hour or two.
I’ve done the rechargable controllers with the DS3 and DS4, I’ve done the plug and play kits for the 360 and One and I’ve got to say, ever since my last plug and play kit died and I switched to an 8-pack of AmazonBasics rechargables, I wouldn’t go back to either of them. I am now firmly on team Let Us Use Our Own…
I’ve been using rechargeable AA and AAA batteries for years. Get a pack of eneloops or amazon basics and a charger and never have to worry about batteries again. I’m a little surprised the the few articles I’ve read about this since the announcement only mention battery packs and not AA rechargeables.
I haven’t had an Xbox controller in a long time but I have a Steam controller and a Wii remote for which I have rechargeable Eneloops. I always have some charged ones to pop in when needed and immediately start the spent ones charging. When my DS4 dies I have to dig up a micro USB cord (I have many but they’re all in…
Nah, surgical masks don’t protect from getting sick, they protect other people from you if you’re already ill...what you want is an N95 particle respirator, which has a metal tab that makes the mask contour to your nose. Slightly more expensive models also have a one-way valve that allows your breath to escape, which…
