I would think that would be easy to do since it's already built-in to the Play Store. It already knows what phone you have, ergo it should be easy to Google the specs and tell you if it meets the developer's specs.

Never had settling issues. I brew the coffee in the machine, so it's pretty well filtered. I use the big ol' reusable clothy tea bags and get a smudge of minor residue, but it never clogs anything. Rinses out real easy with the spray nozzle.
