I bet you dollars to donuts that they will spin this as reasons WHY de-funding is a bad idea and how they need MORE money.

Yeeeeeeeeah, I didn’t wanna be the one to point that out, but...

This is the last straw.

Oh, they lying.

LMPD said the errors in the report were due to the reporting program

He acting like his ass is brand new, but ain’t nobody falling for that shit.

Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer took a harsher tone, calling the report “unacceptable” and citing it as an example of why public trust in the police has eroded.

Yeah, the push-back on this is going to be enormous. They would lose a lot of fans (at least temporarily), and I can see plenty of the venues and teams refusing to go along with it. I’m sure the NASCAR leadership would love for this whole issue to go away.

Recently both the Navy and Marines have moved forward with plans to prohibit the Confederate flag...

I’m watching everybody and their moms saying that they didn’t watch COPS. That shit didn’t stay around for 33 years for the hell of it.

Sports are colorblind? Exactly how many black general managers or in the front office positions? How many black owners of sports team is there? Heck most of the referees, umpires and game officials are white.

Any police here want to push the limitations of the Blue Wall of Silence on this matter? My law enforcement friends (for the time being anyway) have been relatively silent regarding any criticism of fellow law enforcement. Some of them say how horrid the George Floyd murder was, but as far as the tactics following

Yeah, same. It’s just...ugh...

Is the minimal relevancy really worth it? Is the mainstream right-wing acceptance really worth this pandering shit? Truly, there’s being the contrarian then there’s this.....mess.

Simple they want to be able to police themselves and not take any responsibility. They would rather make up laws instead of enforcing them. The Police are more like Judge Dredd at this point.

I still can’t get over those officers resigning. What do they think it shows besides them standing up for the right of the police to assault anyone at any time?

I think this is why reforms fail and the police have to be “dismantled”. We’ve seen what happens when we even suggest that it might be slightly better if (NOT ALL COPS!) were to consider the possibility of maybe thinking about not murdering quite so many unarmed black people. The screaming starts and does not stop

I saw a thing on twitter where one of the councilmen was talking about how when he even just tried to not raise the police budget, not cut it, his district got a significant slow-down in police response to calls from citizens. Basically, the MPD was running a protection racket. So, this seems like their only logical

Protesting works

I think you’re being a little harsh on this guy. He accomplished something pretty difficult to do at this stage of the protest; he made this about himself. That’s got to count for something.
