I used this a few months ago to alleviate some "image persistence" problems I had on my 20" Dell LCD. It seemed to help for a few weeks, so now I run it overnight when I notice problems, and it clears it up for a period.

I've been using Ritek G05s for quite some time, with very good success. However, like any burned media, I know that they won't last forever, so important stuff is backed up using multiple storage methods.

Thanks to my maternal grandfather, I started losing my hair around 23. The only good thing, is that it's not the standard "back of your head" balding, but the overall thinning, and increasingly prominent widow's peak.

As much as I love David Pogue, his methodology and terminology is a bit flawed. I won't go in to technical details behind ppi, dpi, printing method and overall image quality. Use a digital, instant read meat thermometer. Real chefs use one, because there's no guesswork about what temperature the inside is. I like my burgers in the 140°F range, and rest them under foil for about 5 minutes to reclaim juices, and finish carryover cooking. Experiment and figure out what temperature is perfect

spicedham: As I recall, text clippings were introduced in System 7.5 or 7.6.

On Mac OS X, you can also drag images straight off of webpages directly to the desktop (or another folder).

I'm interested to see how it runs via Parallels Desktop on my MacBook Pro. Until recently, Parallels didn't support Vista.

Ah shucks, now that they're allowing new commenters, I might not have to try my hardest to become one. In the words of Groucho Marx, "I wouldn't want to belong to a club that would have me as a member"
