No.

Usually people who are struggling financially do not make sound financial decisions. That would be my guess.

Why does anyone buy a Raptor?

Give Comer some credit here — he knows full well that all he has to do is serve up a theory....any theory....and Fox (and OANN) will blow it up 1000x and then run with it. His intended audience neither requires nor even wants actual proof, facts, or logic — they just want an accusation that they can repeat all over

...BEVs are stacking up on our lots.

Why an eight speed?

Hybrids will turn off the gas engines on their own when the car is not in motion. If the hybrid battery gets too low during that time, the gas engine will automatically kick on and recharge the hybrid battery, like a generator. This all happens with no input from the driver. Nothing manual about it. As Brian said,

While being a student at Stanford.....

Reference to a Rage Against The Machine song about cops.

Did you know that someone named King Varga killed 2 people with his car? I didn’t until I read this story that told how a guy named King Varga, who killed 2 people with his car, is suing people for saying that he killed 2 people with his car.

I just looked up the ‘legal definition of pedestrian’, and in the first few I found were akin to:

The term “pedestrian” means any person

Just as much as $5 gal gas

Nice to see something from the IIHS about it. That means that insurance rates on those vehicles will go up and disincentivize people from driving them right?

Americans live in constant fear of other Americans. Which has created a feedback loop where the goal is to be the most dangerous American (giant vehicle, many guns, ect.)

Absolutely.  Thinking of companies I’ve worked for, the sales people that were direct employees of the company were 100x more effective than random commission people that they used.  The commission people had a lot of connections, but their lack of what they were actually selling made them ineffective at actually

Nursing is in the same boat here, constant bitching about unsafe patient ratios and shitty pay but then when note for example that California has mandated safe patient ratios then they bitch about that being horrible and worse because it came from unions in a liberal state so it is extremely evil. Nevermind that wages
