Beat me to it. Ford sold 166,245 Fusions in 2019, AFTER they announced they were going to be killing it in 2020.

I mean, Ford killed off the Fusion when it was selling around twice that many per year. o.O

Hey, it’s better than an EcoSport!

Alternate headline “Gas is expensive everywhere but US, everywhere else buys small cars” I just summed up the whole article in 11 words.

Doesn’t suck if transit is good. Visit someplace with good transit… you won’t want to drive either.

Low income people don’t typically buy new cars. And really low income people don’t have cars. They take transit. Ride bikes. Walk.

I guess it is time for those rural folks to prove they are as self reliant as they claim to be.

Great, let’s do that. By increasing the difficulty of the driving test so that the least-skilled 33% of drivers fail.

It doesn’t have to suck, we just have to commit to building out the routes and then serving them with enough frequency that people will choose to take public transport rather than drive. It’s not that hard, it’s the political will that’s difficult - and the fact people keep moving farther out to find affordable

This comment is really dumb for obvious reasons.

Ford stock holders would like you to stop typing now.

ARGLE BARGLE FREEDOMS! ARGLE BARGLE ‘MERICA!!!

It would solve a whole lot of problems if we got a solid third of the people off the roads and into public transportation.

Kind of sucks but it might be the right thing to do.

So does this actually apply to trucks and SUVs now instead of fucking everyone else?

Are they going to bring light trucks fuel economy standards to parity with passenger cars?

My wife really wants the Ioniq 5 for only 3 primary reasons - it’s fully electric, it’s not too big and it has the open space in the middle where she can put her purse.  That’s all she cares about.

Aside from the multitude of cabin engineering, safety and layout issues a bench seat would cause, if a buyer is looking for a bench seat in their next vehicle, I think you’ll agree that the vehicle they are looking for, a) isn’t from from this century, and b) likely isn’t a compact (?) South Korean hatchback.

In this encounter, only the police actually killed someone.

Better headline: “Alleged gang member kills pedestrian in street-racing crash

Why the fuck would you engage in a high speed pursuit on a vehicle with a lo jack?
