hey, i liked xenoblade 2 and said a lot of nice stuff about it; you might be confusing me for someone else

Oh, you can speed it up in this version!

My dislike for it is super petty: There’s so much text and it scrolls SO PAINFULLY slow and at least in the version I played you could do nothing to speed it up. After a while I just wanted characters to shut up.

I genuinely dislike it. I mean, I don’t *hate* it. It’s just . . . there’s too much going on in there. I guess it’s really, really hard to make a Zelda game—they have a lot of stuff going on, though they’re so chill about it. Okami feels like Zelda went to business school.

Shut up old man!

Why do people have children?

I’m gonna be real with you for a moment: the first two years you really are going to want to put the gaming on the backburner unless you have a hugely forgiving wife. Late night feedings mean you’re both going to be sleep-deprived. There will constantly be toys/spit-up/thrown food to clean up. If the kid goes down for

I am going to bookmark this article and read it every time I have a tiny little panic attack at the idea of imminent fatherhood. Thank you for writing it. Now I’m off to find a level to make sure my Switch isn’t crooked.

Excuse me while I cackle maniacally from the bridge of my ship—a Lakon Spaceways ASP Explorer named Space Oddity, currently patrolling the Pleiades star cluster —because by the fourth quarter of 3303, Star Citizen STILL HASN’T BEEN RELEASED.

It’s the problem with a firm belief in what MUST be a meta. I love DOTA, I’ve played it since the days of WC3 and allstars, and people become rabid if you don’t follow what they think SHOULD be. The irony is that they praise and lose their minds over pros who break be meta and are successful in doing so.

It sucks that the game is designed in such a way that you can be forced to play in a way that’s not fun for you in order to be effective.

I’ve noticed that articles about Overwatch as a game really make me want to play it, and articles about Overwatch players make me want to avoid it.

So basically dude got reported and banned for playing the game the way he likes to play it? That’s amazingly shitty...kinda shitty game design when you’re basically forced to not play the game the way you like to play it, honestly.

Alabama shows it has a tiny amount of basic human decency left by not electing a child molester to the Sentate by the thinnest of margins.

Congratulations Alabama!

Mods get shut down all the time if they infringe on properties of particularly protective license-holders. Being a mod doesn’t save you from diddily-squat.

So... how long until Disney issues a cease & desist?

People can’t be that stupid to bring that shit onto planes.
