It really stuck out. but instead of gashes or scars or TBI, which would be realistic, they went for coma with no brain injury or even superficial scarring effects. so it stuck out in a lazy necessary for the big reveal/twist at the end way.

Yes, all true, T3501 seemed to be offering Twilight Zone as an example of positive or hopeful endings.

Many of the ones I've seen were quite dark, almost moralistic, where a particular individual who deserved it(ie., mean selfish, greedy) expected success or getting away with whatever & got an ironic ending related to their flaw. Other episodes showing cultural flaws were also quite dark, like warnings/allegories. Did

My niece did Crossfit ,obstacle courses and a full-time job while pregnant with her first child last year & she is not an Abberation. Granted prolonged nursing and multiple pregnancies would slow you down….which is why they'd have to have some means of providing for the lactating women other than cannibalism. Maybe

Yes, they were very cooperative cannibals!

Humans don't have that ability. One man working alone, so unconvincing that no other scientist agrees with his data develops a way to give any human this ability 100% reliably in a few years so that he can successfully "hibernate" not only himself & all his chosen, but trains genrations techs to maintian and

To me, this was the only interesting scene in the finale, because his stupid macho hubris echoed that of his father in the first few episodes: not believing what he was told, having so much macho confidence in himself that he would take off on his own ignoring all the signs that others were in control.

Great question. You'd think the writers(or maybe the author of the book)? would have given a visual or two showing what they toook from the highly developed civilization they overran!

Yes, ANY crumb of logical, metaphorical, whimsical and/or fantastical insight into the life of the Abbies would have made the show less boring. Why cannibalism? do they eat their own? They're clearly not anything like our "paleo" cavemen ancestors who had community & family structures 7 were gatherers as well as

Yes, I "see" it now. How do I delete my comment?

Which means funsociety is not totally evil, right?

Thanks for this. Interviewer is wasting our time but Malik is very unaffected & spontaneous in his responses, like he's really listening & not reciting practiced stories.

Yes, she got to show some wit, spunk, resilience and intelligence in between being victimized. tho of course she didn't think of herself as a victim when she was dealing & didn't want to be "rescued"by Elliot. Will she be angry at him when she hears he lied to her about being responsible for her old boss's bust?

Yes, in his "normal" hackerhero persona he tried to save his therapist from present & future lying romantic partners by pickpocketing her current false love's phone so he could hack him & blackmail him into telling her the truth to "improve her radar."

But instead of a special twin language one speaks Swedish & the other Danish.

It "applies" to how anyone who is either clinically depressed feels no matter how many people love them & whether or not someone looking from outside of them would "objectively" judge them to be loved, popular, and/or likely to be missed. Elliot might as well have been talking to himself, or at least the self whose

"Deep Cuts!"

Love this! Hope the A.V. club reviewer reads it. This scene was brilliant. Even folks who didn't know the backstory would see/feel what was in the pauses & the glances. And no heavy handed sentimental pop song crescendoing to manipulate the viewer's emotions. Scene played even better in contrast to the fevered almost

Sorry, I meant Boz not Wheeler.
