I keep seeing his behaviour being framed as a publicity stunt, which is certainly possible, but I also think we’re seeing a mentally ill man not get the help he needs in the name of making money and it’s quite sad to watch.

How is that the same? A statue honors something and people aren’t given a choice to opt-in on it. You have to seek out a tv show on a streaming service.
The plot is a bit knotty and hard to follow but Beckinsale is great and Tom Bennett is the most sublime cinematic dunce of the past several decades, incredible idiocy.
The first live-action movie was supposed to be Rated-R and a parody of the cartoon. Basically, 21 Jump Street before that was the trend. Then WB forced them to tone it down until it was PG-13 so kiddies could come.
this show was such a fucking delight.
