The father/son story in HTTYD always gets to me too, though not as much as the boy and his dragon.

Mineral.

Aww, I like A Bug's Life. I know it's not one of their classics, but it's still way better than Cars (or, I assume, Cars 2).

An ill-ass Lemony Snicket up in this bitch.

HOW was this question a triple stumper? How? I say this as someone who totally biffed yesterday's "murder" response, even.

I just really want to be Megan Ellison when I grow up.

Ichabod vs. the Tea Party

Community ruined mine a little. People think my parents were stocking up for a bitch shortage.

I actually missed that the category was alliteration altogether, so I guessed "shuffled off this mortal coil" thinking maybe it was something people thought snakes did? I don't know. It seemed like a good guess at the time.

And I love most of the added music! I don't care much for Zazu's song, but "He Lives In You" and "Shadowland" are just honestly lovely. It's a fantastic show.

That was way harsh, Mrs. Langdon Alger.

He's definitely funny, but what really surprised me is how versatile he is. He had a pretty dark and dramatic storyline during the winter season and he really knocked it out of the park.

I liked the story of the book well enough, and it seems primed for adaptation to the screen. But I just couldn't stand Dashner's writing style. Drinking for every time Thomas was confused or frustrated or confused and frustrated would lead to a quick cirrhosis diagnosis. It was even more noticeable in the second book,

Daredevil: I hated it! But I liked Colin Farrell in it!

Actually, it was the first one's major digression from the end of the original source material that bothered me about it so much that I didn't watch the sequels until they'd been out for a few years.

And while I could see "Caps For Sale" as an answer on Jeopardy, I think "Esphyr Slobodkina" might be too obscure even for the bottom of the board.

I actually like the first one the least of the three, I think.

I was stuck trying to remember the author of this book and never even got around to Dr. Seuss. I think I finally mumbled "Steinbeck" because he was era-appropriate, even though I couldn't think for the life of me what any of his stories would have to do with hats.

I did have to laugh a little at Kate's "I'll have to work harder at covering that up" about the tattoos, given all the makeup issues they run into with Posey.

They're all pretty bleak, though I think In The Woods takes the cake.
