Lee "Grinner" Pace sounds like a psychopath cowboy. I approve.

I went from Kavalier and Clay to Mysteries of Pittsburgh and it was serious whiplash between the two.
Yes. Yes, exactly. And I just couldn't understand why so many characters were indulging him, especially as he spiraled further into his hopeless quest. That was, to be honest, probably more frustrating to me than Christopher himself. I did actually really like the way the book wrapped up, with everything with his…
I liked Mr. Penumbra well enough, but I feel like I fit into a relatively small demographic for it. I haven't read Bernadette, but I'll have to add it to my list, since I also love The Westing Game.
I haven't read Remains of the Day, but there's always a danger of starting with an author's best work and then going from there. I ran into it with Michael Chabon after I loved loved loved Kavalier and Clay, then just couldn't connect as well with his other stuff.
Agreed, that was beautiful. I just found Christopher to be a really frustrating protagonist, which I'm sure was part of the point, but I couldn't get past it.
I am so excited for The Bone Clocks.
I've just started Five Came Back by Mark Harris, and I am really loving it so far. I don't read a lot of nonfiction, but this one has me hooked.
Their fame may have been short-lived, but for the record, I like a lot of Hanson's later music. Like this song! https://www.youtube.com/wat…
There was a quick shot of the blonde assassin crying on a bench as Mama McCall walks by her. It was kind of random, until she showed up at the end gun ablazing. Actually even with that, it was still kind of random.
It was just a spambot about making money from home (or something like that)
That is way too specific for me to argue with. I must have forgotten.
Lydia just told Peter he has a kid, not who that kid is. They sort of implied that Peter might know/have figured it out anyway earlier this season when he met Malia, but we don't know whether he knows for sure or not.
I don't think Stiles wants to give the money back at all, and it's easier for him to justify refusing to give it to Peter than to Derek. Plus, Derek and Peter live together; why would Stiles trust that Peter wouldn't find out somehow and get the money anyway?
Or, at the very least, that he and Scott deserve the money more than Peter.
Upcoming episode titles:
- Time of Death
- Perishable (could be either very good or very bad for our beloved Deputy)
- Monstrous
- A Promise to the Dead
- The last episode doesn't have a title yet on IMDB
The proctor isn't the Chemistry teacher, is he? I thought Lydia's mom was the Chemistry teacher now (or at least long-term sub). The proctor was just there to, well, proctor the test.
I support Braeden and Derek. At least she's upfront about herself, unlike of his past sociopathic sweethearts.
It's like they're taking all the ideas they've ever had for villains that they haven't used, repurposing them as assassins, and making them all Monsters Of The Week (or a few weeks).
Far more painful than yours!
