Somewhere floating around tumblr there's a text post that reads:

I bet we will. Though from what I could piece together from some of the dialogue later:

I was so glad when Lydia whipped those boys into shape and wouldn't let them NOT tell the Sheriff about his son.

I'm glad Kira's mom seems to be on the side of good (even if it means hurting Stiles which, don't hurt Stiles!) rather than evil. It really could've gone either way.

I still wonder about that look he gave Uncle Peter when he came out of the Mama Hale conversation, but I guess we'll just have to wait on that one.

SPACESHIP!

That hug between Scott and Stiles just about killed me.

I loved, loved, loved that you could immediately tell that Dark Stiles took over when he woke up in the MRI. Dylan O'Brien is amazing.

I think the 'no one in their right mind' part is pretty significant here. Even if this was attention-garnering prank, the perpetrator is still clearly not in his or her right mind. At best, they have no sense of perspective or decency. At worst, they honestly wish harm to this five year old child, whatever the

This episode actually made me think maybe she had a brain tumor (or was at least diagnosed that way), which would concern Mama McCall even without the supernatural side, especially if it was possibly genetic.

Stiles was there with her in the hospital when she died, wasn't he?

I didn't see it, but I guess Holland Roden said Stiles's like calling Melissa 'Mom' was foreshadowing, but I bet it just means we'll learn more about Claudia and that it'll be related to what's going on right now with Stiles, instead of that she's not his real mom or something.

This felt like a necessary transition / backstory episode. I didn't love it, but it helped fill in a few gaps and sets up a nice Stiles arc, so I can't complain too much—even if there wasn't actually much Stiles in it.

My mom and I spent that entire ad making fun of it like—Superbowl ads should be fun! What are you even selling! This is boring!

FedEx has some good Super Bowl ads. I can't say this one's my favorite ever, but it did jump to mind:

Tony Shalhoub is from Green Bay! Not even Wisconsin, but Green Bay specifically!

I had a feeling somebody might call me out on that. Still, from what I remember, the lyrics switch from "How we gonna pay last year's rent?" to "We're not gonna pay last year's rent! This year's rent! Next year's rent!" at the end of the song, and fuck that.

I'm really invested in the relationships between all the teens and their parents, which is not something I would have predicted before I started watching.

I'm not sure when Stiles was meant to have written the numbers. It must be during school and during the lockdown—but wasn't he with Lydia pretty much the entire episode? Maybe he wrote them there when he broke in to prank Coach? I'm not sure.
