I think the biggest difference (aside from the artistic side and the acting) between Hannibal's procedural and a typical procedural is the pacing.  A typical procedural will hit the same beats — someone found dead, interview a few suspects, a key witness/suspect/partner-in-crime also found dead, reinterview witnesses,

Not as young as he could have been, but not as old as you might think.

I believe that O'Brien could pull it off.  I just don't see what Stiles has to work with as far as intimidation goes, whereas Scott is, you know, a werewolf.  Plus, consider the history they each have with Gerard: Scott rose up past multiple threats and even a stabbing to outwit the man, while Stiles … got kidnapped

I think the heartrate thing still makes sense.  Your heartrate may go up when you're lying, but that isn't the only thing that can cause it.  To keep it steady during an entire story, including parts about his fellow hunters being ambushed and such, would seem forced.  I could see Scott not believing it.

Hey, at least we finally know how old Peter and Derek are.

That's interesting.  When I've heard the story before, both creatures end up drowning.  I think that part is definitely important to the worldview of the people telling the stories.

The girl reminded me a lot of Bailee Madison too, so I checked and it wasn't her.  Paige was played by Madison McLaughlin.  I wish Bailee Madison the best though; her young Snow impression was eerily spot-on.

Scott's intimidation didn't bother me and I kind of liked seeing that shift in character.

Fuller must love playing around with names.  They were much more obvious on Pushing Daisies but it's fun to see that continued more subtly here.

Will also be in prison, so naturally Will be impatient about it.

Will Graham

This week in MTV helps you prepare for your SATs: The Unreliable Narrator!

I'm also curious about the 'wrong' version of the show.  I'm sure I would have kept watching it but I wonder if, had it stuck more with the procedural side, I would have been quite as emotionally moved (and even devastated) by it all.

Graham's reenactment of Gideon's nurse murder is probably top spot for me, though mushrooms are pretty close.

I mean, the show has had a while to build up that cult fan base.  I didn't start watching it until it was off the air and I've gotten at least three more people to watch it with me who weren't fans originally either.

Yeah, I think the trailer is definitely made for people familiar with the show and the characters.  I can't see why it would entice anybody new to the show.

Also she got like an internship at the FBI for the summer after her freshman year of college, right?

If somebody's got a problem with the name Stacker Pentecost, Pacific Rim was already not for them.

I definitely enjoyed it.  And I loved all the names!  Gypsy Danger!  Stacker Pentecost!  Hercules Hanson!  Hannibal Chau!  What a bunch of badasses.
