Yeah, having both Alana and Beverly sit this episode out means the loss of Will's two biggest supporters, and I'm sure that's not an accident.

If not for the encephalitis, the next step would've been "I don't see anyone.  There's no one there, Will."  Especially with Will practically combusting before his very eyes.  I think my gasp there might have actually pulled all the oxygen out of the room.

When he hid Will's encephalitis diagnosis from him.  For all the murders and trickery, that felt like the biggest betrayal and the point of no return.  I know, it's weird.  Considering all the eating of people he does.

Something about the way things were shot this week made me notice the people in the background of the show much more than usual.  The hospital with Abigail, Georgia's crime scene, even the morgue all seemed to have a lot going on just past the focus of the camera, or just before it.
