I kind of thought the narration break from Adaptation would be included in this one.

It's not that hard for me to believe that Sherlock would think that's exactly the way to teach someone, though.

P-push it real good.

I was definitely terrified my Southland news update would be cancellation news, like that sinking feeling I got with The Hour a few weeks ago.  I'll take Mandy Moore.

I'm sorry for your loss.

I do wonder if Joan would've taken the risk of breaking into the husband's car if she hadn't just been called out as not a detective by her concerned if vaguely well-meaning (I guess) friends.  Like she had to prove herself, and when she couldn't do it it just spun her out further.

This just seems like a strange place to criticize people for enjoying stories and storytelling, even if you don't like the particular storyteller.

I don't really think he's going to do it, but I'd be lying if the thought didn't cross my mind last night with the way his final couple of scenes were shot.  But oh God that would be a depressing and terrible turn of events.

It's easy to get back into it.

The writers showed their hand a bit with that one by having the guy who 'bought' her named (or fake named) Richard Connell, just like the author of "The Most Dangerous Game".  Not necessarily obvious (as I imagine most people wouldn't be able to pull that name out of nowhere) but a definite nod.

… What on earth are you doing at the A.V. Club?  Do you not know what this website is?

Yeah, but to some people, "A lot" of a show means watching 2 or 3 episodes a week.

Yeah, I didn't hate him but I didn't give him much thought either, I think.  He started to become more interesting in his birthday episode, but it was really his stuff with Acker in the beginning of Season 2 that really drew me to his character.  By show's end, he was my favorite.

I'm hoping he's a SHIELD operative who gets to go undercover a lot for some reason.  Who happens to have an identical twin on the NYPD.  Hey!  Enver Gjokaj has an identical twin!  It could totally work.

Zack and Joss Whedon are brothers.  Also Jed Whedon.

I feel like my icon requires me to comment on this story, so: Yay!

Also I loved Lydia's "Are you fucking kidding me?" look when that kid brought the explosives into the police station.

I was getting very worried about our Sammy in his last couple of scenes, between the phone call and the wordless wandering on the rooftop.  Eerily suicidal is a good way to put it; I thought for the briefest of moments that this episode was going to fake us out on Dewey's death but give him back to us, only to pull

1.  I haven't watched every episode (I only started watching regularly last season) but I think it's generally a secret, except that Sherman suspects but maybe doesn't know know?  I seem to remember them going to the funeral of another cop and Cooper implying a few things, but I wasn't watching the show regularly

Well, now it's my nausea.
