Over the shoulder

According to the trailer for next week, it may as well be Peppercorn.

"I don't think the one with the bell can read."

He symbolically fought the Commies as an assistant coach in Miracle!

I took the gunman barreling back at the end of the show to be a suicide-by-cop.

I know the man with 30 kids owing everyone about $1.50 a month in child support is based on a true story; I remember reading about it a few months ago.

I thought they called it a Community Center at some point, which would give the gym and all context.

The problem with Ruben is I can only think of him in relation to Lydia, while the other partnerships all have their own balance.  Well, I don't know about Cooper and his new guy yet, but that's got to have time to develop.  Ruben is only ever Lydia's partner/foil/support, never just Ruben as a whole character.

I don't know what everybody's talking about with the comments.  Mine look fine?

All of my attempts to introduce Duck, Duck, Grey Goose to the world have failed up to this point.

I definitely remember watching both growing up.  Avonlea was our regular, though; I remember Sara living with her aunts, then her uncles and cousins and various other Avonlea residents.  Man, if I can find this on DVD I think I will have my mom's birthday present all worked out.  Mission!

Holy shit, Anne of Avonlea!  That was the first show my entire family watched together every week.

You can't hack into a typewriter.

I really dislike Ruben.  His bland bordering on judgmental personality just bothers me, even more than douchbag Sherman or whining Sammy.  At least the latter two are interesting to watch.

It didn't strike a false note with me, either.  I heard that "I pay your salary" shit from students when I was a public school teacher, and while I hope most adults are more mature than fifteen-year-olds, they're not always.

I actually thought him being forthcoming about Hinkley was quite interesting.  I wondered for a moment if he still harbored some slight, nagging suspicion of them and fed them the information on purpose just in case, hoping they'd send it back to Russia and cool tensions.  Even if he did it subconsciously.

Elizabeth's nurse interrogation wig looked exactly like my mom's hair looked in the 80s.  Almost the same color even.  Ha.

I think it's funny that the show's going to expect us to want Henry to come out on top in that ordeal.

I thought a typewritten note was dumb.  A silly plot machination that kept August from just saying "Hey, I know you're Baelfire" aloud to add a bit of mystery for the audience.  If it had been an actual thing, like the fairytale book or a picture of the dagger or something, I would've bought it more.

Science vs. Magic!
