GODDAMMIT.
GODDAMMIT.
Perhaps, but the truck-driving suburbanites in my neighborhood—you know, the ones who paint their vehicles in camouflage and fly Confederate flags out of their trucks (even though we live in fucking WISCONSIN)—invariably listen to country music. So no, not all truck-driving suburbanites fit the other categories, but…
Wasn't the judge the guy who killed the mouse to frame Red? Charming's dear dad?
One of my favorite television bad guy mistakes! Goading the good (or in Victoria's case, vaguely less bad?) person with the gun aimed at you by assuring them they're not a big enough person/not brave enough/not something enough to just go and pull that trigger.
That is a good point I should have remembered but didn't. Problem solved!
Man I don't know what I'd do if I had to worry about The Hour in this timeslot still too. Life is hard!
I don't know what I'm going to do when Southland comes back on in the same timeslot next week. I don't have a DVR and I don't like downloading things if I can avoid it. Terrible!
Discussion of Jim Henson's death always makes me think of this image, in case I wasn't weepy enough.
Yes.
Whatever, Suits. A dress has always been my strongest suit.
And also still great?
The cult member's chapter grabbed me immediately and never let go. I found the finance guy kind of hard to follow at times.
I imagine that's true. Maybe I'll pick up a copy of the book to supplement so I can at least see it at some point.
Ooof, yeah no kidding. It's a great script all around but I can definitely see where it would pull that kind of emotion out while performing it. I'm still processing a lot of it and I'm really glad I got to see it onstage.
I have to imagine. It's emotionally exhausting to watch, let alone act in. What role did you play?
I said this below, but here it is again!
Miracle is probably my favorite sports movie.
I finally got the opportunity to see The Pillowman by Martin McDonagh. I’d vaguely considered finding the script for it somewhere because I’d heard it was excellent (and it was!), but I decided to hold off on the odd chance I might someday get to see it. It turns out holding off was the right choice, as a few small…
Honestly, there is just about no part of Fox's treatment of Fringe that I can complain about now. We got five seasons with a wonderful wrap-up, and with the absolutely anemic ratings it was getting by the end, that can only be thanks to network grace. I'll accept Friday nights if it means I get more of the show.
I liked the double fakeout. I think it made the end more poignant, and no one tried to stop him or say there's got to be another way or anything.
