Wow, so much yelling. As I've stated several times now, prison guards do this to male prisoners as well, so it's not exclusively a trans issue. The issue is the fact that prison guards often do not take prison rape seriously, regardless of gender, and use it as a punishment in some cases.

That has got to be one of the dumbest things I have ever read, and that's including your manufactured statistic of 1 in 12 trans persons are murdered.

placing her in a cell with her rapist wasn't a trans issue, her being placed in a male prison in the first place was the trans issue

Hey fucknut, never did I once say it was because of overcrowding, I said it's because they allow prison rape to happen regardless of gender. I don't know where you go overcrowding from. I have no idea where you got overcrowding from.

What excuse? Is there something wrong with your brain? You called me "probably bigoted", which is obviously not the case because I have been in relationships with several. It's unlike that I would be bigoted or transphobic if that were the case, this isn't the "I have a trans friend" claim, it goes well beyond that

I didn't say it wasn't a trans issue

Uh, no. Not at all. I've dated trans women. There is no reason to think that they only locked her up with her rapist because she was trans, because this sort of thing has happened before with men, and will continue to happen. Unless you have some basis for your "probably very deliberately harm a trans" woman,

No, it isn't, but that's how society treats it. Rape is often funny when it's a man raping a man, especially in prison - it was the major plot joke in Half Baked, and I'm sure many others.

That's how most interpreted, but that wasn't her intention, it was that the larger problem is that a person was locked up with the very person they were asking to be protected from.

I do. There's no reason to think that just because she is trans, that they would seek to do her any more harm than any other inmate. Where do you get your "probably" from? There's no basis for that.

I thought so. My immediate reaction was the same, but upon reading it a few times I see the issue. I suck at words most of the time :P

Sure, but I'm saying it's even worse, because even if it wasn't a trans issue, they locked two people in a cell who already have a rapist/victim relationship. I don't think Carrie expressed herself correctly, but I believe she was saying if you remove any gender issues, it's completely insane to lock a person up with

not just a sex offender, with her rapist - the one she was trying to avoid by being sent to protective custody.

that's because male on male prison rape is considered a joke, or due punishment for the inhuman criminals in jail.

look at the differently colored shadows near it, looks like an odd light effect from some color gels

You can buy all the characters in the game with points you earn instead. Takes a while, but doable.

biology and fashion have no connection beyond pants having two leg holes. look at how many articles of clothing are actually harmful - corsets, heels, heavy earrings, etc

they've actually tried to distance themselves from the MMO designation

EVE Online.
