Exactly! Her mind made the switch look like the one in MW so she could face her guilt and regrets and find a way to forgive herself by using it to save lives this time. It's also another symbolic fork in the road. Last time she ran. This time she's staying with her people.

Thank you! I moved it to the right thread XD I've been sick, so I've had a lot of extra time to analyze this show.

I'd bet that the ILY was in the original script. It would make sense for Clarke's arc. I feel like a Clexa ILY was roughly as earned as the Finn one.

Whoops, nope. I started it for a different comment, had to close my mobile browser for a phone call, and got turned around. Thank you for pointing it out, honestly.

That was my thinking initially, but ALIE 1 proved that she could restore any memories she wanted when she tortured Raven, and she doesn't have to appear to the chipped person in order to see what they're seeing, so any one of the Delinquents could be the sleeper agent. She'd just leave their minds as is and spy

I agree. And it's interesting to see another person who sees that Ontari has been really screwed up by the Queen of Azgeda, to the point where I genuinely feel bad for what she must have experienced, given what we know about the QoA. I also theorize that Ontari wasn't actually born a Nightblood, that the QoA used one

I'm thinking that part of Bellamy's redemption arc got screwed up when the showrunner bullied Ricky Whittle (the actor who plays Lincoln) off the show. In interviews he's said that he had a lot more story and an actual plotline in 3A, but that it was all changed and cut. Since the show loves its parallels, my guess

I'm glad you see my reasoning on some of this. Thank you for your very thoughtful reply!

That's true. I should have said that *many* of the female characters get more slack than the male characters. What helps with Murphy is that the guy who plays him is a holy vessel of tap dancing, sassy humor, and adorableness.
