Same, it blows my mind! Like 2 hours before were they like “Ah shit, who ordered the tents?”

That’s a very good point. I have super caring parents, but they’re not overbearing by any means. It may have just looked very off from my experience and the culture around me.
This! If I went on The Bachelor and ended up bringing him home, my family would probably be wary and judgmental as hell with good reason. (“Oh, you love him but he’s dating four different girls? Where are you going to live? How many kids? You haven’t talked about any of this?”)
Her hair was beautiful. Although it was definitely a bird’s nest with bangs sticking out in opposite directions by the time I outgrew my Samantha doll. I was never a good caretaker of my dolls.
Her clips during the credits have been everything this season. She should’ve gotten all the airtime.
It’s interesting, I feel like vegans/vegetarians/etc get a reputation for being really radical, pushy, and annoying but most of the ones I know are quiet about it and just stick to their beliefs/motivations for doing so, they don’t care about what other people do.
Hm. She looks fantastic to me.
Jesus Christ, Viola Davis is NOT in Hidden Figures. Please stop.
That show’s cancellation was a tragedy.
Exactly the same here! I sometimes lightly feel like I should almost be apologetic when I do have to bring up that I don’t eat meat, and that feels so sad to me.
This is interesting to me because I became pescatarian in the last year for moral reasons and people like to pick fights about it with me too. Some along the same lines as your skittles example, and others like “But you don’t care about the FISH?!!”
I think that’s what makes me sad overall, it’s not just about him anymore. He has an infant child they brought into the world. From the looks of it, that baby has a horrendously dysfunctional childhood coming.
Every time I hear anything new about Rob Kardashian it makes me sad.
I hate myself for loving Meghan Trainor’s “No.”
Same :) most rom coms (and maybe movies?) are problematic but I feel like you should be able to enjoy them/other art if you really wish, and be able to point out the problematic parts.
LOL
Yup all of the above.
It’s actually an annual holiday tradition for me and my friends now. We act like we’re a cynical bunch but I think on the inside we’re all secret mushy hopeless romantics.
I definitely started excessively researching Octavia Spencer’s possible involvement with Love Actually for 3 minutes...and then I kept scrolling.
I’ve had an intense urge to party with Pitbull for about 4 years that I still cannot understand.
