Again I must point out that that is a turnstile attendance figure. Weekend passes are counted three times. That guy who bought three one-day passes? Also counted three times. The true attendance is closer to 20,000 or 30,000.

Link has a cross on his shield in Zelda 1.
Just for clarification, PAX does not have 60,000 people. They count a 3-day badge as 3, not as 1. Every major professional convention including PAX, New York Comic-Con, San-Diego Comic-Con, etc. all use turnstile counts. Some conventions also count staff, vendors, etc.
Villa Paletti
Really? More thanMario 3?
The problem is that the original L4D did not have enough maps.
I know these people. They do the Ninja Consultant podcast. Let me tell you, it is very strange to see people you know in the "real" news.
Multiwinia was a game that had great potential. The problem was that it simply didn't work. It was primarily a multiplayer game, but the multiplayer part of it was so incredibly broken. I even went through the trouble of opening ports on the router and everything, still no go. PC game developers really need to learn…
You know what's affected my game purchasing? The lack of games worth purchasing. We are in a serious drought. What was the last Wii game worth buying? Seriously. There were some big PC games with Fallout 3 and Left4Dead, but now what?
The original reason the arcade succeeded was because it was the only place to play video games before home consoles.
I see they didn't fix the problem where GNR is locked and unopenable when you try to return after fixing the dish.
I am with everyone else. I've registered a shitton of stuff in the past, but I don't see a lot of Nintendo purchases in the future. I want my points!
GameBoys and DSes are by far the most reliable machines out there. You've all seen the GameBoy that survived a war, right? The SNES or N64 were probably the most reliable home consoles. My Genesis doesn't work anymore, but I've never seen a broken SNES.
GC Mega Man compilation is the way to go. It's so much cheaper than the VC. Same goes for Mega Man X and Sonic GC compilations. Really, the VC is the most expensive legal way to get an old game, and should only be used when there is no other option.
Hooray for + mode. Otherwise...
It's math time.
I also played this a bit at PAX. The controls are just horrible. The person at the booth seemed to realize this, and really wanted to teach me how to play to minimize my frustrations. The concept may be a bit interesting, but it's nothing to spend money on.
As a kid, Zelda 1. The whole game isn't scary, but the northwest part of the overworld map is. The music in the final dungeon also scared me as a kid. The second quest was even more frightening because of its unfamiliarity. You get so used to the first quest that while the second quest is similar, but different, it…
Multiwinia not doing so well. Great game with broken network code and no way to modify controls. Goes to show you what happens if you fail at the fundamentals.
I played this game yesterday on kongregate. The game itself is not that bad, but the controls make it unplayable.
