This is ridiculous. The people buying $60 shoes and the people buying $190 shoes are almost invariably completely different types of people. It’s drop dead simple these days to make a cushy pair of $60 “running” shoes that feel great if all you do is walk in the park or cut the grass. These shoes get maybe 50 miles

Sketchers has started offering serious running shoes. Meb Kefl...who am I kidding, I can’t spell his last name, has been sponsored by them for a few years and won the 2014 Boston Marathon in them. They’re one of the brands I’m interested in giving a shot at some point.
