It’s possible since they consulted with Toyota on how to build a modern car. But, they put a gear box in this thing and thats a whole bag of bolts to wear out, and other EVs somehow get along fine without.

I think that’s th epoint everyone is making. If Tesla or Chevy are getting around 270 - 300 based on EPA testing, and Porsche is getting 200 with the exact same testing, there’s your relative efficiency.

EVs are more efficient in city driving than in constant speed highway driving. So whatever clcultaions someone is making, that should be taken into account. For example, an electric motorcycle capable of mixed use range of 90 - 100 miles, will only get around 40 miles/charge if only driven on the highway.

Dude - it’s $80,000 more than a Tesla with maybe 1/2 to 2/3 the range with all the resources of the largest auto company in the world - Tesla deserves props and Porsche should get to work.

I’d just rather have more range like all the other EVs - excepting perhaps the Leaf.
