I don’t see as utilitarian - I see it as someone gave Musk an etch-a-sketch. If I want an armored military truck, I’ll weld a couple of steel plates to a Hilux with a machine gun mount. Unless there’s a hidden cache of Hummer owners yearning for an EV, I don’t see one sale happening.

I think your dreams will come true - though I’d add a few months to any delivery date. Still - closer than most dreams.

Te Bolt has been on sale for many years - I think it’s sharp-ish. The Mustang is not on sale yet. Knowing Ford it will be 5 recalls before they get it right and then they’ll give up.

I think he’s just trying to spin a news cycle, though hopefully he is chronically ill.

If it’s not genuine Corinthian Leather, my gentle veal fed buttocks will disapprove.

I was referring to Lorenzo in the article. He broke his back in a crash this year at Assen and it was the last straw. That’s all I was pointing out.

Just a note: This isn’t the crash he is talking about. This year he was cartwheeling at about 80mph and cracked his spine.

Lorenzo is a uniquely introspective man in a sport where introspection is dangerous.  Deep respect.

Metric shmetric I always say.

If by short term investment you mean paying $9k for a few rides before the repair bill - sure....

If they’d totaled it he could have gotten the insurance -thieves today... too bad.

They do - and yes - they do that too.

It has cats and O2 sensors, FI and other stuff too. Why assume when you can know.

A third way s to buy a properly specced Honda Civic-oh yes!!
