I'm with you! I'm Canadian, and we only get Krispy Kreme donuts on special occasions or for fundraisers, and I think that they are the most delicious pastry i've ever had. I try to go whenever I cross the border, and it is so worth it.

I can't not see that now. Weird ballsack.

I'm with you. This doesn't strike me as any sort of infatuation. I would have done the same thing if I had the time, proximity and resources.

OMG, this was the best moment in any Disney movie i've ever seen.

That sounds awesome. Kids are so cute, and it's so great that she was so great in the theatre!!!

Oh man, I love Sherman Alexie. Have you read The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian? I recommend it to everyone. I live relatively near Spokane, so I think everyone around me should read it. I was given The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven, and while it was good, it took me a while to get through.

Doug, she's not going to be happy about you using that old photo!

I kind of felt the same way when I graduated. I had family there, but as I took a year off between third and fourth, anyone I knew had already graduated. When we lined up, I became quick airplane-seat friends with the two girls on either side of me, so that was nice. I hope that it works out the same for you, fills up

She seems lovely :)

That is a jackass headline Kate, seriously. I don't give a rat's ass about TSwift, but this makes you look like a snarky jerk.

And The Hairpin. I have often found that once an article comes out there, an almost identical article will pop up here within an hour or two.

Wait. Why don't people like "Same Love?" I'm honestly curious. My high school students just introduced me to Macklemore.

I'm from BC, and Cuba is a regular although significantly more expensive tropical holiday destination for Canadians. I went a few years ago, and they stamped my passport so lightly that it didn't show up, and i've heard that they do that for all Canadians in case they face any complications when travelling to the US.

This is a wonderful and eye-opening story, thank you for sharing!

That was the first thing I thought too!

Oh my goodness, how cute is Ben Affleck?!?!

"There is one dead Chinese man, for every mile of the track," is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Heritage Minutes! I have taught Socials 10 and 11, and these vignettes are used regularly!

I think Doug was aiming for sarcasm, it was just poorly executed.

This is the best thing i've ever seen!!!

I didn't see it below, but here's a link to her blogpost that has been deleted: http://tinyurl.com/aaouwzn
