yeah if you sale hunt you can get some nice deals. Also by checking the sell by stuff as mentioned... if you are brave you can get killer deals on seafood that way

the premise of SNAP is getting people nutrition with the intention of them eventually getting back on their feet. If they’re pissing it away in the first week or two of the month on chips, ice cream, and other calorie deficient or overpriced crap like outlined in the bill, it’s not benefiting anyone.

the law as is is way too broad. But the whole premise of the program is to provide good foods on a budget. As others have mentioned, lumping flank steak or chuck with sirloin is fucking silly.
