In short, yes. The DNC is running out the clock for Clinton. You don’t want people seeing these debates and thinking they have a choice.

O’Malley and Sanders have both said there aren’t enough debates scheduled on the Dem side. But the Clinton campaign seems to be hoping that a handful of debates with low viewership will deny the other two a chance too look good.
