Could it be a balancing issue?  Driveshafts need to be balance and often have weights to insure they don’t cause excessive vibration as they spin pretty fast.  Shortening it may have changed where the weights need to be.

And I get to drive around the neighborhood a few times with no door like a UPS delivery guy!

It’s something which galls me to no end....

I’m so tired of hearing both of those names.

I get why these cars were panned back in the day, given the strange ergonomics and lack of space. However, I love to see what’s great about every car and I think that these had a lot going for them. I bet if they had the chance at a second generation GM could have worked out those kinks. And you bet I’m going to enjoy

That is definitely on my agenda. I taught myself transmission fluid changes with the Touareg and now I want to change all of the transmission fluids. :)

This goes to show how personal any automotive experience really is. The journalists disliked this car from the get and they were bombed for various reasons by all. Yet here is a person who I respect, especially with a wrench, digging it from the jump. I have been driving since 1962 and have enjoyed some cars that were

Tried to explain this to my friend’s 20 year-old son. Just because a car is older it doesn’t mean it’s cool/good/classic.

You’re right that it’s a big boring, but here in NY it would be 70% the asking price for 30% of the body work remaining.

Mandatory for a Canadian:

And Chappelle IMMEDIATELY blames it on trans people.

This is a very expensive drone, so this isn’t some kind of yokel, this is probably connected to some kind of organized crime.

Hmm, wonder if there will be apologists for this attacker much like for Will Smith? And of course they’ll use “It was a trans man” as justification.

You don’t like a dark red/Kraft singles colored interior?

No, pretty darn sure Excel’s had Hyundai badges. The Precis had a Mitsubishi badge and Hyundai and Mitsubishi shared components as well but the Excel was the first Hyundai badged offering here.

Not harsh, honest.
