While I agree with you in general about transgender casting, I think in this case it is actually fitting for what the show is trying to do.

While there will always be those that hate what is different, despite their lived experience, I imagine that being on the receiving end of racism all ones life would make them at least slightly less likely to go full blown, open xenophobe.

It was fun, but it makes Lena look kinda dumb when Supergirl shows up 30 seconds after Kara leaves.

Kara trying to duck out on Lena to change into her Supergirl outfit is maybe the most inspired sequence the show’s done in years. It felt extremely Christopher  Reeve.

Just do HEROES FOR HIRE already. Luke and Danny work better together, and Misty and Colleen are great together. Would hopefully fix the issues with both shows.
