Re: Justice League

BTW, I live in Philly, and frankly I root for Vick to get hurt every game.

"Mr. Vick, why do you need a multi-million dollar kevlar body suit?"

Yes.

This only seems liberal to you because you're so deep in partisan politics that you don't have perspective.

I suspect he won't have as much control over the casting, in order to bring in 'his guys', as he's used to. This is going to be a big budget - major player - type show. Not a small sci-fi vanity project. So the studio is going to have a lot of say in who gets cast. He might be able to slip in a few people in small

Adam Baldwin isn't up to anything at the moment. Can we have Jayne; agent of SHIELD please? (really though, I know him better from Chuck at this point, which he played a great straight man.)

Marvel has only a million and a half characters. 7 or 8 of which were in the Avengers movie. I don't think there'll be a shortage of characters for them to leverage for the show.

What about a SHIELD series is NOT original? Tell me all the other shows on TV that are just like a show about international spies that also oversee superheroes, and is based in a comic book universe with demi-gods and monsters.

I like that the movie didn't go with the darker tone. Part of what made the film so enjoyable was that it was just plain FUN. This opening sequence really shifts the tone in a way that feels like it doesn't fit with the movie I saw. I'm glad it was cut. I also don't like Maria Hill as a bitter shield employee, or with

It might seem like I'm splitting hairs here, but I'm not.

I saw that too. It always bothered me (tremendously) that apple charges $100 more for nothing but increased memory. $500 gets you the whole tablet, all the R&D, advertising and distribution that goes into it. For only $500. Then for 20% more, you get a whole 16 gig of ram. That's absurd.

The theme park is well known in the northeast, and it gets plenty of business. I suppose it's not on the scale of disney world, but it never lacks for business. Not sure they'd be able to handle even something like a 10% increase in foot traffic, that'd clog the whole park.

I think you miss the sheer scale of the advantage. As stated, google got 190 *million* unique visitors to the site in June alone.

Dear Lemming;

Imagine if time machines already existed, and you then tried to make them illegal and revoke all of them? It'd be impossible to unring that bell.

I was only luke warm on this, but io9's glowing review from the comic con showing has me more interested than I'd otherwise be.

And they pay for the internet connection and the wifi router!
