First, it’s not an Arena Shooter. Unreal Tournament is an Arena Shooter. Quake III Arena is an Arena Shooter. OW is most definitely not one. It’s technically classified as an FPS, although calling it a “shooting game” is grossly reductive, especially in the way imnotmeanymore said it.

The point is playing a weird crossover. Running on real hardware or not is irrelevant if you just want to play a weird crossover.
