Still, the player base is fractured. Which sucks. Being common doesn’t make it good.

It’s not that they can get away with it. You can bet your ass that a lot of people don’t buy the game if they find out about these issues beforehand. So they lose potential money for letting these issues slip.

Not to defend the game or the developers, but the game isn’t lacking 1080p support. I’ve been playing it at 1080p since launch with zero issues.

Just to clarify, the PC port worked flawlessly for me. But two friends of mine had trouble with it, specifically with some sort of upscaling/interlacing issue. Their screens are both 1080p, but the game was rendering at 900i for some weird reason.

Because the game is fantastic despite of that. I was having a blast even before installing this mod. This only made it even better.

That won’t happen. Wii U Discs aren’t compatible with Blu Ray drives. You’d need to somehow install a Wii U disc drive in your PC for that. 

In my very humble opinion, it’s not that people choose gears in order to limit their speed. It’s more because changing gears helps you really understand, conscious and unconsciously, that you’re going faster.
