I guess they don't like it when people like them. They'd rather be hated.

Crap, that's true T_T
I don't really like fighting games. But I've always had a soft spot for Capcom's Power Stone series, which broke free of the limitations of most other fighters and dropped you in a small 3D arena, meaning your combat felt more "real" than being trapped on a 2D plane. That series is long gone, but this new fighter sure…
Oh, don't get me wrong. I wouldn't touch a new Resident Evil game with a 50 foot pole.
I can also say that people who like local multiplayer AND want to play this game in particular... there probably aren't too many of those. So maybe not that many people will ask for that refund.
It would be OK if the Steam page for the game didn't say it had. It would be a bummer, but it wouldn't be wrong.
blu-rays are 2.4:1 because they would need to crop the image to be in any other ratio.
The thing is that preordering a system is one thing. You'll use it anyway because you'll get games for it. Games, though, are always a risk. Maybe (more like "probably" these days) the game will come loaded with problems and needs to be patched to hell and back before it works properly. Maybe you don't like it as you…
I'm not saying they don't have the right to do it. I'm just saying that that's one of the many reasons why I won't be buying this game.
And movies aren't generally made for being watched on TV Screens. They are usually made for movie theaters. And this aspect ratio gives the best experience there. Games are made to be…
Actually they could have developed systems that would make a HUD unnecessary. See Dead Space, for instance.
Screenburn only happens on old plasmas.
Plus, it wouldn't cause more screenburn than watching a random movie would.
That's the excuse. Movies are usually filmed using this aspect ratio. Games can use whatever ratio the developers want. And why would anyone use less of the screen? Oh yes, because it saves processing power. That's the only reason. Being more "cinematic" is the marketing department version of the same thing.
They have…
This makes sense, but deciding to pick the game up or not based on other people's opinions is better than on no opinion at all.
The best thing to do with any game is not to preorder it.
That would make sense. And that wouldn't be THAT bad.
Ziggurat is just freaking amazing.
My rarest ones are (in reverse order):
I believe that, but where are the profits in laying down a group of people who were working on a game only to give said game to other people?
My colorblind friends wanted to play this game since launch but, since couldn't do it properly, they decided to wait. Good thing the wait wasn't long.
In fact I couldn't. It was gone when I finally got there. But still, thanks for pointing it out. It was a great deal.
Thanks!
