I'm gonna take this chance and say that I absolutely HATE Assassin's Creed.

OK, now that would make sense. And I think I'm gonna start playing MOBAs.

When you're playing Bayonetta, you're doing a hell of a lot more than shooting. When you're playing SC2, you're not shooting at all. Your soldiers are, and you're commanding them.

While I could imagine those wings being re-purposed from an existing costume, the accuracy of the colors on the body suit beneath suggests another case of early warning.

It seems like you don't know many single player games. There have been a few great ones. Mob grinding and simple boss fights are a problem with diablo-esque games. Most other genres don't suffer from this exact issue.

"instead of killing other players and showing you are more skilled or better at quick decision making,

Oh, I know what the acronym stands for. It's just that what it stands for... doesn't mean a thing. Why isn't Smash Bros. called a MOBA again? Or Counter Strike?

True, that.

Maybe Ubisoft just wanted people to talk about Uplay for once. I guess they succeeded, if that was the case - just not in the way they expected.

There's no denying that it's easy to monetize. It is. But if it wasn't fun for the players... it all would fail.

So how do you explain the sudden rise of MOBAs? DOTA started the craze and, suddenly, it's on ESPN. There were not many mobas out there and, yet, people seemed to really love the genre. This seems to contradict what you're saying.

Well, to be fair, it seems like Titan has become Overwatch, so it was not really canceled, just adapted. Also, you're forgetting Heroes of the Storm and Hearthstone, which are new stuff from Blizzard and they both are doing quite well.

So your list shrinked to 2: Warcraft Adventures and Starcraft Ghost. It's countered

The market disagrees with you (and with me, for that matter).

Shhhh. SF1 didn't happen. It didn't exist.

Christ, I hate Sega because, apparently, they hate my money.

I need PSO2 in my life, goddammit.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNND I'm a Bungie fan again.

Don't be so hard on yourself. GW2 isn't F2P, so it's OK.

The kid seems to be having fun and is not being harmed, so I see no problem with that.

And since we're telling other people what to do with their lives, stop telling people what to do with their lives.

Surely. Unless they want to make the games look better. So they'll go for the more cinematic feel.

Well, I think we "started" with the wrong foot here, since we're both thinking each other is "worked up" while, apparently, none of us are.

(I'm not defending gamergate here. I'm not "for" it. I think it's stupid.)
(sigh... and I keep writing "Gamersgate" instead of "Gamergate"... ignore it if it happens again.)

Moving

That's what I think will happen.
