Not if it's properly sized. Turbo lag is a thing of the past in modern performance cars. What it will change is the linear ramp up of power, which many people don't like in cars such as this.

What is the point of a ladder that starts 5' off the ground? If I could reach the first rung of that ladder, I could reach whatever is on the rack already . . . what am I missing here?
I’m very excited by this. I just built one online and it came to $66,000. I didn’t pick any of the packs, as all had some things I didn’t want, and some things I did, thinking I could get them aftermarket sooner or later. I did opt for their air compressor though.
Modern superchargers run a bypass and consume very little hp when not under boost.
She’s standing behind him, kissing him on cheek side with which he’s winking.
Which is a shame. As a male never planning on having kids I take zero issue with women or men getting paid paternity/maternity leave. I’d rather they have the time at home to focus on the newborn, form the relationship, and start off right, rather than introduce another neglected mouth to feed into the world. That…
I think we'd all like to know where you're getting 8% year over year returns.
Federal law enforcement officials are highly trained and expensive individuals (was one). No way the government is spending those kinds of dollars to guard a remote IRS office. Not saying it’s right, just saying no way you’ll ever see us cough up a 6-figure salary officer to pull that kind of duty.
I’ve done this more times than I should admit to when restoring and tuning cars. Forgetting I just had it running 5 minutes prior, and checking the coolant level. Last time I did it not 5 minutes after running the engine to literally bleed the coolant system. I was extremely pissed at having to start over after 2…
Why is there a threat of the dual market? Can’t they just build them to higher standards anyways and still comply with the Federal regulations? Anyone who wants to build cheaper lower economy cars can do so, but they’d face the dual market or not be able to sell in half the country.
You bring up an interesting point. Should automakers really be targeting large sedans, SUVs, and Trucks for their electric push, with the thinking being that they’re the most likely to live in areas that have easy access to at-home charging? Furthermore, people living in denser areas, with smaller cars, likely do less …
I really really want one, and really really want them to succeed. But for whatever reason I’m really pessimistic about Bollinger. I feel like if they were really a year out they’d be taking cash reservations right now to fund production. I can’t imagine they're already funded to produce, and they haven't publicly…
An engine this size isn’t for the offroading. It’s for the tow rating. With the right gearing you can offroad fine with a small 4cylinder like some of the new jeeps come with.
I think the idea is that the weight increase of panels will be very minimal. A car still needs to have a roof, so it’s not like you’re adding structure just for the sake of solar cells. If you can integrate it into some of the glass roofs coming on vehicles it might be a negligible weight increase.
Another mustang chiming in in favor of stripes . . .
Having the actual tips separate from the body prevents them from melting paint and plastic. If you want actual, connected tips they'd need to be less integrated into the body.
Not only that but recently they removed the ability to cancel your subscription from their website. So I had to chat with their customer service to cancel, even though their Help article showed links on how to do it solo. Said links did not exist anymore. The Help article said, “if the links aren’t available call tech…
In fairness they filmed endgame before the captain marvel movie, so they probably weren't totally sure how much to use her given that her origin film hadn't been done yet. Might have been a risk to overly leverage her in endgame if her solo outing didn't resonate well. Just a guess though.
True. And cars and small planes never crash.
That’s how a proof of concept works. You take a concept and prove the concept is viable. You’re not attempting to prove that it works in the full intended practice, only that the concept of delivering an organ by drove is viable. This event did exactly that.
