Yes, okay, this is less funny and creative than the first two. But that's like saying my dumptruck filled with 85,000 pounds of gold bullion is less valuable than my other two dumptrucks filled with 90,000 pounds of gold bullion.
The "feature" was pretty meh by T&E standards…. but the Wrap-Up Show was awesome. Awkward, odd, off-putting, and with an air of "this is all about to go seriously, seriously wrong in a way I don't think I want to see". THAT'S the T&E I enjoy the most.
Jools was the George Harrison of Squeeze. He's a really talented musician, but the narrative was always Difford & Tillbrook, and they ruled with a bit of an iron fist. Jools got one song an album. Like George, he eventually got sick of it and left.
Not as an EP — as a double album.
If they were cool parents, they'd have the two Housemartins albums instead of the Beautiful South, of course…..
