Glad to see someone else sees that, although maybe the director acknowledged it, i don’t know. It seemed to me that it was not JUST stalker though, but also a little Solaris, and a dash of the Sacrifice as well. And the shot of her walking away from the lighthouse with colors going all crazy felt like a sligh homage

Thanks for taking my comment into consideration, I honestly didn’t intend to shit on anyone’s favorite movie of the year, because it ranks up there for me as well. Gotta love any movie that has the guts to end so fucking WEIRD as that one did. Plus the quasi-Susperia ending shots of her walking away with everything on

I would have loved Annihilation so much more if it hadn’t had that dumb fucking shot of the meteor hitting the lighthouse at the beginning, which for me took all the mystery and ambiguity of the film was about out of it right away and made the whole movie just another movie about aliens. Ignore that, and it actually

yeah, but didnt they get it from loki’s scepter?

I thought it was the mind stone that he had in his scepter and that’s how he controlled people’s minds, and the tesseract (space stone) was what allowed the portal to open ... I really don’t know this stuff well enough to speculate like this, clearly. haha

but didn’t have one previously? He had the mind stone before, and he gave it to Loki, to conquer earth with, didn’t he? I don’t know. haha. I’m probably out of my depth on this shit at this point.

I agree with and echoed many of your points in another comment. Another thing though that no one seems to be able to conceive of - that maybe Strange actually told everyone at least a few things about what they were gonna need to to do in order to actually “win”. He literally tells them that there is only ONE way to

(TL;DR - I disagree. I think Strange is more a secret villain than quill by far because he refused to destroy the time stone at the beginning and the whole failing to get the gauntlet off thing and Quill blowing up at Thanos about Gamora while Mantis was doing shit to his mind is a part of the endgame Strange talks

The only time I remember laughing at one of the scary movie movies was when the guy gets stabbed through the ear with the duck. Oh, and which ever one has the matrix reloaded architect parody scene Where he blames every thing on a copy of pootie tang. Which is both funny and angers me because i fucking love pootie

The way the cops assess the massacre of a crime scene at the beginning as a bunch of suicides is hilarious.

That scene is actually funny. I was always partial to the villain character pointing at pictures of tigers and saying “tiger..... Tiger....tiger”. Don’t know why it makes me laugh

haha, I just realized this is second time you have mentioned something in a comment today, prompting me to look that thing up. Weird, wasn’t paying attention to the user name at all. Oh well... Checked out pop team epic on sushiroll, really funny stuff - not sure it ruins deadpool for me yet, but I tend to be one of

I looked it up - really fascinating mystery, even if the symbol is likely not a message and just something incidental. Still, I love true crime mysteries and this one was well worth reading about.

Jimmy Eat World’s “For Me This Is Heaven” for the line “and this is what she said gets her through it, if I can’t let myself be happy now, then when? If not now when...”

To be fair, I don't think the guys at the network had any idea what they were going to do with it (truthfully, Maiellaro didn't either until they got to around episode 3), but the show did get insanely deep.

My avatar is from mine - 12 Oz. Mouse.

In posted this on the spoiler space article as well, but i thought it was worth repeating:

I have a feeling no one will agree, but the show from which i take my profile pic is perhaps my favorite thing to be heavily inspired by lynch that he himself didn't make - 12 oz. Mouse. I really do believe that if you are seriously enjoying the new twin peaks season - which you should be, because it's fucking

Ive always thought it was obvious that banksy was a collective of people working under the same moniker… I also thought that no one still cared about the subject… But I'm wrong a lot, so i probably am this time as well

Where was the 23 reference? I couldn't find it… check this out, which I figure is more likely what it would be referring to: https://en.wikipedia.org/wi…
