Come to LSU for a night game vs. Bama. You can even drive my 1st gen TSX, which I promise, is too a real luxury car.

Granted its not a trunk area diagram, but the sheer amount of space in the Omni has always impressed me. Its a completely flat floor from the top of the rear bumper, so its cavernous with a tiny footprint. You could even get a 8 passenger version.

Early ones had a heating element connected by an extendible cord, but these were ungainly and awkward — getting the cord reeled back in couldn't have always been easy. Getting rid of that cord was key, and the earliest patent I found that seems to have achieved this design was filed on October 2, 1919 — the birthday

Hate to be pedantic, but its G

I nominate this: The Maruti Suzuki Omni. I learnt to drive in this car and really a weight of 785kgs and 36hp@5000rpm should say most of what you need to know about it. The only saving graces were the fact that it was technically mid-engined, rear wheel drive, and had a manual transmission. Being a Japanese

I don't usually comment, but seeing as how I enjoy both your and Party-vi's comments most of the time I felt I had to chime in.

I think its actually a Jeep Accord. I hear it is a very reliable and fuel-efficient rock crawler.

Sorry for the noobness, but what is going on there? Is that an accord coupe you have grafted the front end on to?

I think the top of the trunk being "flat" (seriously, is there any car there that does not?) means Ford definitely copied of this. And RED, and TAILPIPES

I personally like the spyker badge because of how elegant it looks

Totally agree. I think it has the most precise steering among FWDs, minis included.

I wish I had this many buttons in the back seat as a kid

Acura TSX with 153k miles. First car in three years now :)

God forbid, if an authentic one ever crashes, this should help you pass out :P

Maybe not, but now I know what color I want our entry in Formula SAE to be next year. That's my official school color (along with gold).

I am usually a lurker on these forums, and dont post regularly. But I had to login to say that this is probably the new golden age of American vehicles. There is an American car for every car enthusiast, if not every person in the market for a car. The Mustangs are the best they have ever been and as good as BMWs at

While I agree that Dan Wheldon's death was tragic, I hate to see Marco Simoncelli not even getting a passing mention. Are deaths on high speed two wheelers not as shocking as the ones on four wheels? I hope that his death leads to the development of something like a HANS system that can prevent head and neck trauma.
